About Us
Paige Varner has an MS in Physics and a background in eclectic earth-centered practices. She was raised in a conservative Baptist environment, where she remained until she was a young adult. Since that time, she has studied shamanic techniques rooted in Peruvian traditions, as well as element-based paths of personal spiritual development. She is currently a High Priestess in the Alchemical Mystery School, an active member of the local Covenant of Unitarian Universalist PaganS (CUUPS) group, an initiated Candidate in AODA, a founding member of the Druid Order of the Three Realms, and a stay-at-home mom. Paige has a passion for designing small-group and solitary rituals, and interests in divination and astrology.
Bob Patrick has an eclectic path both in terms of spirituality and academic work. Raised a Methodist, he has a BA in Biblical Literature (Greek and Hebrew), an M.Div in theology, and is currently working on a PhD in Latin and Roman studies. He spent 15 years in the Roman Catholic Church. He has worked as clergyman, theologian, teacher and massage therapist. He is currently a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, an Ovate in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (OBOD), and a Druid and charter member of the Druid Order of the Three Realms DOTR) as well as one of its three Custodians. The Mother Grove, The Sylvan Sanctuary is located in the metro Atlanta area. As a co-founder of Earth Mysteries, LLC, he gives workshops and retreats in earth-centered spirituality. He is a full time teacher in Classics, and gives frequent workshops for teachers of foreign language in teaching methods as well as non-coercive ways of working with teenagers.
